Stephen White Posted 11 June , 2009 Share Posted 11 June , 2009 After the appalling weather on the drive down from Telford the weather changed for the better and was just right for the flying display, I got to see many types that I'd never seen in the air (where they belong) before and was especially pleased to see the Gloster Gladiator. Thanks Roy for getting us all organised and to Neil for driving us down there and to all the Pals that I missed I hope to catch up with you next time. A fantastic day. RobL Posted 14 June , 2009 Share Posted 14 June , 2009 Is one of them planes a replica for a Dr.1.It looks very similar except for the rotative engine? Andrei There is no Fokker DR1 - do you mean the German marked aircraft? Aside from the lack of rotary engine, it's also missing a wing and has too many seats for a Fokker DR1. It's an LVG C.VI, currently in storage at the RAF Museum Cosford
