Hello all

Just picked up the above medal, not sure what the BMBR stands for or would mean , any chance of some reasearch on MIC and Ancestry those lucky people who have it

Bombardier is an artillery rank around the corporal mark !

Not a lot on the MIC. Herman is his first name and the original Medal Roll reference is:

RFA/117B page 3223. This ref will take you to the ledger in the WO329 series at Kew,but there is unlikely to be a unit shown. The fact that there is no date into a War Theatre shown means that he entered after 1915 somewhere. This ref refers to the two medals issued as a pair,the British War and the Victory Medals.
