Sylv

The clue's in his records ;)

Record states that he served from 10/12/1915 to 14/12/1918 in England only. Medals were only awarded for service overseas which means he didn't qualify for any, therefore no qualification = no medal index card. There are exceptions to this rule, usually related to the issue of a Silver War Badge, but in his case this is the reason there is no card.

Regards

Steve
