can i get any more info on william duffy royal dublin fusiliers 9352 d.o.b- 23/03/1890 he was gven the s.w.b and discarged 1916 , cant find his pension details anywere on line just his medal card, dave ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

May I suggest that you add the name and regiment to the title of the thread as it may attract more interest that way.

the only thing that I can find on Ancestry is his medal card which you say that you have.

SWB List B/147 so he is on this SWB roll at TNA -

If you can't visit Kew you can order up the roll using "Request this". TNA will copy 10 pages for £8.50 in 24 hours. Remember to quote page 147 and all his details. The roll should give you his Battalion, date of enlistment and discharge, and cause of discharge - usually either wounds or sickness.

tanks 4 all ure help. yes my gf did live at faithfull place 1911 ,ave also been tryn 2 find out were he lived b4 then as well. because his brothers died durn ww1 but as of yet no1 is sure of there names ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, dave

The 1901 census should be on line in 2010. Do you know if your GF was born and grew up in Dublin? There are some 1901 census records transcribed by volunteers for 12 counties outside Dublin here -

found my gf on swb list on tna ,thanks again 4 ure help .it didnt say what battalion he was wht ,but i now no he was discarged due 2 sickness,
