Does any one have suggestions about how to trace Joseph Charles WW1 records. He was with 11th Svc. Battalion-Sherwood Foresters, Pte. #18182?

There's a 18182 Private Joseph Charles with the Notts and Derby. According to his MIC, he got the trio - 15 Star, BWM, VM.

There's a Service Record for Joseph Charles with the Sherwood Forresters. Just two pages and damaged around the edge.

Born 1876, Worcester. He was a coal miner. Married.

Not much else I'm afraid.

PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send what I've got.

Joseph, Thomas and Isaac Charles were all my grandmother's brothers. I do have their attestation papers etc. but I know nothing about Joseph or Thomas Charles from after the war.

Do you know of a Staffordshire Forum that might help me find more about them?

The short answer, which doesn't help you much, is "no".

However, some of the other members of the forum might possibly be able to point you in the right direction.
