Guest helenmars Posted 8 April , 2004 Share Posted 8 April , 2004 Does anyone know how many veterans of the Great War are still living and what are their names and histories?
john w. Posted 8 April , 2004 Share Posted 8 April , 2004 I believe it is about 24.. we lost Arthur Halestrap early this week. As to the names, you will se references to Smiler Marshall on the Forum, he took part in the last ever cavalry charge... The rest are a blur but the rest of the pals here will fill you in I am sure... John
