How many men could an Austin Motor Field Ambulance carry in 1918?

It would help if someone could tell me how many they were designed to carry and how many you could fit in at a push.

Thanks in advance,

Paul.

Ambulances were built on many different chassis but there were two types of body. The light ambulance which was fitted to car chassis carried two stretchers and four seated patients. The heavy ambulance usually on a lorry chassis carried twice that number.
