Help

Struggling to find any details on, or ID this vessel in the usual sources, except for a brief one liner in David Boswells "Lost list of Grimsby Vessels":

28 Jan 1918, 'WHITSTABLE', Burnt Simons Bay, Cape Colony.

Any information would be appreciated.

Cheers, Terry

Hi Terry

No sign of the vessel you mention although there was one completed in 1925;)

Ron, Thanks for looking, much appreciated.

Dave, Thanks and also much appreciated. I wasn’t confident I’d have any success with my query and having found some elusive info. recently in the registers. I took advantage of the rainy weather today and spent a couple of hours at the archives and found Whitstable - what a valuable resource those registers are - couldn’t track down Jubilee though (lost 1918)?

Cheers, Terry
