blindbatbob Posted 24 May , 2009 Share Posted 24 May , 2009 Hi Researching my family tree has led me to the name Peter Brown who i believe to be my Great Grandfather. Having just discovered my Grandmothers birth cetificate it names Peter Brown as her father her mother being Bridget Brown of Union Street in Londonderry. On the certificate it says Peter was a private who served in the 3rd Battalion of Inniskillens ! He apparently served and died in France during world war 1. This is all i have to go on so i would appreciate any help Frank
Hywyn Posted 24 May , 2009 Share Posted 24 May , 2009 Hi Frank Welcome to the Forum. There does not seem to be a Peter Brown on CWGC in that Regiment. There are three Patrick Brown. What was the date on that Birth Certificate and does it have a service number for him. Hywyn
