Somme1916 Posted 8 April , 2004 Share Posted 8 April , 2004 Has anyone read “With the German Guns; four years on the Western Front” by Herbert Sulzbach? I started it last week and have less than 100 pages to go. It’s a marvelous war diary by a German Artilleryman who, now get this, fought as a German officer in WW1 and served in the UK as a British officer in WW2! No he wasn't a spy just anti Nazi.
