Hi Des,

A few more to come, also have some pictures of 8th, 10th, 11th & 13th men and one R.I.R. who transferred to the R.F.C. and still got a long way to go entering the other ranks into a database, maybe some in there.

Folks - hopefully you will be able to access the link below. I am spending some time building up a website which will provide info on the first seven btns of the RIR in the Great War. Based around Falls, Lucy, local sources etc.

Seems to me that the 'Service' Divisions have a fair amount 'online' about their activities but the lesser known activities of the 1st, 2nd, 6th, 7th (plus a little on 3,4,5) are virtually untouched in terms of web access.

This will be a free website where people will be able to come and see info/pics etc gathered together in a relatively handy format.

Once I am finished within a reasonable timescale, I would like to be able to hand it over either to one person or a committee who could add more info as it comes in etc etc.

PGL - as you can see I want to put up as much as possible. Individual stories and pics of other ranks most welcome.

It may become overly large but as long as we have quality AND quantity, I'll be happy.

Special appeal to those with SDGW and who can work the program well.

If someone could find a way to do list of fatalities on a year by year basis it would be very helpful. If those could be converted onto a word document it would be a simple cut and paste to the beta site above.

Realise I'm asking a lot and I am very appreciative of all efforts so far.

The amount of times the pals on this forum have put themselves out for me is hard to count.

Its what this forum is all about..

Enjoy.

No problem Des. :)

I'm hoping to get back to verifying what I've collected so far and adding to it where needed - it all comes down to time in the end.
