Paul D Kendall Posted 13 May , 2009 Share Posted 13 May , 2009 Remembering Private William John Kendall 44291, 22nd Battalion Manchester Regiment killed at Bullecourt 92 years ago today on 13th May 1917. I have no photo of my great-grandfather, except for his Dead Man's Penny and medals. His name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial and I have visited the line of advance of his battalion at Bullecourt many times. I hope one day that his remains will be found, and I hope one day to find a photo of him. Lest we forget. Paul
