Remembering today my Great Grandfather John Owens. Private 7021 1st Battalion, East Lancashire Regiment. Who fell alongside many of his brave comrades on this day in 1915 at Mouse Trap Farm.

You can read a little about John here http://www.freewebs.com/bernardhoganmaltaitalyww2/

It is also Nanna's birthday on this day

God Bless you John, the family talks about you often. We are so proud of you. You will never be forgotten.

With all my love

Your Great Grandson Anthony
