Remembered Today:

Recognise this?

It is indeed The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. In the scene the soldiers run backwards in time, so I thought the still might not be immediately recognisable.

Well done Mike!

The Razor's Edge (1984) is one of those movies that pops up on television over here every once and a while. I don't think I have ever seen more than a few clips of it here and there but I just remember it for some reason 'cause of the attention it received due to it featuring Bill Murray in a dramatic role. he'd been pretty much a comic actor prior to it. i know, pretty useless movie trivia! :D

Thought I'd add a picture - as we haven't had one for a while.

Can anyone recognise where this came from?

You're too good at this!

Yes, it was the IV Army Battle School scene from ANZACs, with the British Sergeant demonstrating the 'killing face'.

I'll have to dig around for something more difficult.

No one's had a guess at this yet, so thought I'd give a hint.

The still is a bit misleading, as the film in question actually focuses on the air war over the Western Front.

Any ideas?

Gotcha!

Aces High with Malcolm McDowell and Christopher Plummer

Aces High is right.

The still's from a scene where the two main characters go to pick up a German pilot downed behind French lines.

Well done Martin!

Nothing to do with me really -- I did see the movie when it came out, but had forgotten the scene. Thank U-bend or whatever the site's called

"Passchendaele"? Not even seen the film, so if it's right it's pure guesswork!

So how about this, then?

Clue: Western Front 1917; latter part of the film though much of the rest is set after 1914.
