Staffsyeoman Posted 4 May , 2009 Share Posted 4 May , 2009 My guess would be Regeneration.
Landsturm Posted 4 May , 2009 Share Posted 4 May , 2009 Correct, Steven... I though that was fairly easy one, but had to be included. Interesting shot, Paul. Certainly not Regeneration.
Paul Ormerod Posted 4 May , 2009 Share Posted 4 May , 2009 Not Regeneration. The battle depicted in the scene is Loos if that helps.
stoj22 Posted 5 May , 2009 Author Share Posted 5 May , 2009 Loos........mmmm.....not a clip from My Boy Jack is it?
Staffsyeoman Posted 5 May , 2009 Share Posted 5 May , 2009 I can see the shoulder titles a little better now - those curiopus things that end 'XL'. "The Trench"?
Landsturm Posted 5 May , 2009 Share Posted 5 May , 2009 "My Boy Jack" springs into mind when the battle of Loos-mentioned, but we already had that. Looks very creepy with the gas helmets.

stoj22 Posted 5 May , 2009 Author Share Posted 5 May , 2009 Looks very creepy with the gas helmets. I thought it was the "gassed last night and gassed the night before" scene from Oh! What a Lovely War at first but 'appen not!! The b&w one above looks a bit tricky! Steve. p.s. that's a conincidence AHD, we've both got a Joseph Cooper!! At Home Dad Posted 5 May , 2009 Share Posted 5 May , 2009 I'll give you another, same film ;P The b&w one above looks a bit tricky!
Chris Foster Posted 5 May , 2009 Share Posted 5 May , 2009 here's my effort. Recognise this? From here ? http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...howtopic=122710
stoj22 Posted 5 May , 2009 Author Share Posted 5 May , 2009 Well done Chris, just watched the film whilst doing some printing, the two contrasting comments on the webpage made me smile! Anyway brought this one down from above......
Paul Ormerod Posted 5 May , 2009 Share Posted 5 May , 2009 I hadn't realised how similar the above still was to the opening of the "Gassed Last Night ..." scene from Oh! What A Lovely War, but it's not that. It's not My Boy Jack either. I've added another still below, which should give it away. CLUE: The main character is an RAMC Stretcher Bearer ... at this point in the war!
PBI Posted 5 May , 2009 Share Posted 5 May , 2009 Well it's not much harder but......................... [/quote The Awful Deathwatch ?
