Guest Posted 3 April , 2004 Share Posted 3 April , 2004 I have not seen metion of the Bishops Knoll hospital - a small private home in Stoke Bishop Bristol that was turned over to be a War Hospital. It produced a magazine 'Coo-ee', a set of which is at Bristol Ref Lib, and include snippets on Beaufort and Southmead hospitals.
CBooth Posted 3 June , 2010 Share Posted 3 June , 2010 Apologies for dragging up this ancient thread, but I thought the forum might be interested in this site, where there is a history of Bishop's Knoll hospital, along with some wonderful photographs. I am very interested in doing further research on the hospital and on Robert Edwin Bush (the owner of the house) and would be very happy to hear from any colleagues who have further information. Warmest regards Charles
