NigelS Posted 26 July , 2009 Share Posted 26 July , 2009 Michael, Somehow I've managed to miss this; as neither is that far from here, I should be able to do get both Wokingham & Grayshot done for you. Sorry I can't help with Bathgate - not quite in my neck of the woods though! NigelS

Peter Bennett Posted 3 August , 2009 Share Posted 3 August , 2009 Michael Now we need to help you get all the grave photos from Belgium & France. I suggest you start a new thread with the specific locations, as I know for a fact some forum members already have some of these. Regards Peter
regimentalrogue Posted 3 August , 2009 Author Share Posted 3 August , 2009 Peter, thank you. Some members have already provided photos from visits to cemeteries in France and Belgium. I have also been watching for any offers of photo-taking and checking my regimental list of cemeteries for matches. The list remains quite long and I will consider preparing separate posts for Belgium and France. Cheers Michael
Jesse Posted 4 August , 2009 Share Posted 4 August , 2009 You doing the MIA sites, too? As part of an ongoing project on The Royal Canadian Regiment in the First World War, I'm seeking a few gravestone photos from each cemetery of RCR soldiers who are recorded as casualties of the War. I have a list of 177 cemeteries that hold RCR war dead, these are listed here, and a Google map of their locations can be found here. The UK cemeteries I'm looking for photos from are listed below. I would appreciate any help if members are local to these cemeteries or may already have photos in their files. I don't need a high resolution shot, as I'm posting the photos in a 300-pixel wide format, as shown here. Even a cell phone photo would be appreciated. Please let me know how you would like to be attributed for the photo once posted on line. Photos can be mailed to me at regimentalrogue@gmail.com. habspei31 Posted 4 August , 2009 Share Posted 4 August , 2009 Michael, any chance you'd be willing to share those pictures with VAC? We're always looking for pictures to add to the Canadian Virtual War Memorial. Details on submitting pics can be found on the main page, and any soldier's page in the CVWM. Thanks!
