David B Posted 4 April , 2009 Share Posted 4 April , 2009 Two of my distant rels were KIA - one at the Battle of Loos in 1915 and the other at High Wood in 1916. I note with sorrow that their father died only a few months (within 6 anyway) of the second son belig killed. This seems to me to be a direct result of the eldest and second son dying in France. No doubt this would possibly have been a common occurrence during WW1.
