RFA Lowland Brigade

I am researching the movements of Kallia Banna who served with the City of Edinburgh battery before the war and whose regimental number appears to indicate that he was in either the 1/1 and 2/1 Lowland Bdes. His medal card indicates that he first entered the war on 24/10/1915 in France

Can anyone tell me what division he served with, the batteries he would have been in and locations involved. RFA units seem to have been merged which makes it confusing.

All four Lowland Brigades (1-4) started as part of the 52 (Lowland) Division:

1st Lowland Brigade. Left the Division May/Jun 1915 and remained on Scottish Coast Defences

2nd Lowland Brigade. Numbered CCLX May 1916 and renumbered CCLXI Sep 1916. The Brigade remained in Egypt while the Division was serving on Gallipoli.

3rd Lowland Brigade. Left the Division May/Jun 1915 and remained on Scottish Coast Defences

4th Lowland (Howitzer) Brigade. Numbered CCLXII May 1916 and renumbered CCLXIII Sep 1916
