John Gilinsky Posted 3 April , 2009 Share Posted 3 April , 2009 I have found that here in Toronto, Canada from at least 1917 onwards that the "Toronto Women's Directory" published several pages of lists of Ladies' Auxiliaries to various CEF battalions and other units such as Dental, Army Service Corps and Medical. Did Great Britain have such similar listings? I know that there was a Charities Annual which I believe continued to be published throughout the war. What contemporary published sources would list such women's organizaitons in Great Britain and secondly throughout the British Empire including Canada? Thanks, John If anyone knows where I can find the 1914 to 1916 inclusive annual editions of the 'Toronto Women's Directoy' I would be eternally grateful if they could advise!
