Sam-Browne UVF Badge

I was shown a Sam-Browne last Fri and on the under side was this UVF badge, the gentleman that had the belt said a member of his family had worn it in the Great War, it is possible that this Sam-Browne had been at the Somme. Any members of the Forum with any information on this subject?

It is indeed possible, but without better provenance than a family assertion, you wouldn't/ couldn't put your house on it being so.
