paul leeson Posted 30 March , 2009 Posted 30 March , 2009 I know that when the war started, 2, 18 and 22 Coy’s RGA were based at Sheerness and over the water at Shoeburyness was 14 Coy GRA. But was Fort Grain still in use? if so, by who? My GF was there for vaccinations [by RAMC staff] in July Aug 1916 and he was in the RGA. Thanks in advance. Paul
phil@basildon Posted 30 March , 2009 Posted 30 March , 2009 I posted an item yesterday under "pics of costal forts" about Grain fort.
