cliff brown Posted 30 March , 2009 Posted 30 March , 2009 Can anyone tell me where 32nd btn Royal Fusiliers were positioned on August 7th, 1917? They were in 124th Brigade, 41st Div and taking part in the Third Ypres offensive. Does anyone have the war diary?
Nigel Gordon Posted 31 March , 2009 Posted 31 March , 2009 Hi Cliff, This may not help much, but according to the “Royal Fusiliers in the Great War” the 32nd had moved up to the front near Klein Zillebeke and were there on the 5th August. For the 6th August it says “the battalion moved back on relief”, but it doesn’t say where they went. It doesn’t mention the 7th August at all. Regards Nigel
