Tony Lund Posted 29 March , 2009 Posted 29 March , 2009 Holmfirth man Irvin Barrowclough, was killed in action on 30/7/1916. Recently his niece was able to give me some very useful information on this man, and also his two brothers, one of whom lost both legs below the knees and the other (her father) was wounded in the shoulder and discharged in 1917. I was able to give her a copy of the newspaper report on Irvin’s death and would like to be able to add a photo of his name on the memorial. It should be somewhere on Panels 6A and 6B. If anyone finds themselves standing near these panels with a camera I would appreciate a photo and will pass it on. Many thanks, Tony.
LarsA Posted 29 March , 2009 Posted 29 March , 2009 There is a photo here for a small fee if no one is passing by: http://twgpp.org/information.php?id=49458 Kind regards, Lars
