British SD Tunic Rank Braiding Wanted

Dear all,

As suggested by Mr. Andrew Upton (Thanks to you mate!!!), I wish to carry out some modification to my tunic, all I need is some braidings for the cuffed rank. I went to the internet and found a website called schipperfabrick.com. I sent an email to order some braidings and a pair of Aussie shoulder title. As shipping charges not indicated, I asked them in the email as well. However, I've received a very discriminating and offending reply from them. (see attached picture)

Sadly speaking, when I was studying in England and Australia I was never been treated like this before. I will never, ever buy from this supplier. Can anybody suggest where can I find rank braidings for sale please?

I'm sorry that you have had a bad first experiance with what I and many others consider an excellant provider of WW1 reproduction military items. Unfortunatelly, your going to find that there are many firms who will not (for various reasons) ship items to certain countries.. China as a whole being one of them. To save yourself any upset in the future.. due to your location, may I suggest that, before you set out to purchase, you enquire if that particular firm ships to your location? In that way, you will not become offended, and hopefully not receive a similar reply as that from Shipperfabrik.

We have a similar problem here within the USA, in that a great and ever increasing number of gun dealers refuse to ship items to California. This is because of the amount of extra paperwork involved.
