anthony Posted 25 March , 2009 Posted 25 March , 2009 Hi, Could anyone with access to the 8th Battalion Loyal North Lancs War Diary please help me out with what they were doing on August 4th 1917-I presume they were taking part in the third battle of Ypres as a casualty I am interested in was killed on the 4th and is buried at Bedford House Cem. near Ypres next to 4 of his comrades.
