Terry Carter Posted 25 March , 2009 Posted 25 March , 2009 As forum members probably know the 1916 film 'The Battle of the Somme' has been released on DVD and restored to its original condition. This newley published book by Alastair Fraser, Andy Robertshaw & Steve Roberts, sets about to enlighten us even more by following the footsteps of the two official cameramen, Malins and McDowell, and providing lots more info regarding where certain clips were filmed and identifying some of the soldiers in the film. Bought it from Amazon and its a absorbing read. Terry
