Mystery Men on the Starbeck Memorial

I was wondering whether any of the amazing pals out there could help me identify the last two mystery men on the Starbeck War Memorial, a F. C. Winter and a R. Wade.

There's only one F. C. Winter on the CWGC database, of the 1st/1st Cambridgeshire Regiment, and when a pal looked up his SDGW record for me last year, he was born and enlisted in Cambridgeshire, so I doubt whether he is the right man. There are several F. Winter's and C. Winter's on the CDGW database, but none of them indicate a Starbeck or Harrogate connection in their Additional information field, although there are several for whom this is blank.

There are several R. Wade's on CWGC, but none indicate a Starbeck or Harrogate connection, but that doesn't mean he's not in there somewhere.

If anyone could shed any light on either man's identity, through SDGW or whatever, I would much appreciate it.

Cheers,

Carole.

Carole,

Had a look on SDGW and cant see any WINTER's or WADE's from Harrogate or Starbeck with your initials.

There is a:

George William Winter, born Starbeck, enlisted in Harrogate

Louis Winter born and lived in Starbeck, enlisted Harrogate

ALso had a look at the Army GRO deaths and there are no F C WINTER's listed, but there is a Civilian GRO listing for a Fredrick C WINTER's aged 47 whose death was registered in Leeds in December 1918 (9B / 793)
