Crazy_Moo129 Posted 18 March , 2009 Posted 18 March , 2009 I'm hoping to find a little more information about a couple of people. Charles Herbert Hallam was born 1885 in Worral, Bradfield, Yorkshire. He was a Sherwood Forrester (Notts and Derbys Regiment) he was private 26660. I've also found what i think to be his brother, Private 59130 George Henry Hallam b1894 in Bamford, Derbyshire. This medal card has him receiving the SWB List F 635. Both recieved the usual Victory and the british, i wonder if there's any way of find out more? or atleast confirm they are the right people. This time i wasn't lucky enough to find their service records on Ancestry. Many Thanks!! Joanne

Joanne Joanne, the information I have is 26660 L/Cpl Charles Harry Hallam, born 1895 and enlisted into the Sherwood Foresters 15th February 1916. He served with the 16th Btn (Chatsworth Rifles) and lived at 3 Essex Street, Ilkeston in Derbyshire. He was a signaller and was discharged 11th February 1919. Hope this helps. BRONNO.
