agedpink Posted 17 March , 2009 Posted 17 March , 2009 Remembering today a brave Derbyshire Lad. Private 204577, Frederick Lester Chapman of the 1st/8th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters. Who died of his wounds on Sunday the 17th of March 1918 aged 29. Fred was born and enlisted in Tideswell Derbyshire. He was the son of Frederick and Mary Elizabeth Chapman, of Tideswell Derbyshire and is buried in CHOCQUES MILITARY CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. RIP Fred
