I was reading a report about 16 absentees who were tried at Leeds Police Court and thought I would try and trace their ultimate fate.

One of the men was:

Lot Shuttleworth (33),

Springfield Place

Leeds.

"Lot Shuttleworth charged with being a Reservist and not reporting and with being an absentee from the Northumberland Fusiliers - ordered to await an escort."

37804 Private Lot Shuttleworth, 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, is on the Arras Memorial, he died 13 December 1917.

Does anybody have the location of the battalion on that date?

thanks in advance, Steve.

Maybe Graham Stewart will be able to help. Possibly if you added a description requesting the location on 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers on 13 December 1917 you will get more takers.
