Hi all,

Just spotted these New Books that are now been offered by Naval and Military Press, I would like to purchase the above mentioned but I do not know if it will contain the info I am looking for. I contacted the Naval and Mil Press people and they say that unfortunely they dont look up individual records so the problem I have is that I dont know what book if any has the relevant information I seek. I was wondering have any of you Pals purchased and if so could you check for the name Private John Peter Bohan 1584 1st Battalion Irish Guards who was severely injured in the Battle of Festubert on the 18th May 1915. I know this is a long shot but this forum is great for getting results. I will take any and all advice on this subject,

Regards

Mick

I have had No 14 for a few years.

I believe they were compiled fairly often.

Mine is Enqiry List No 14 1917 wounded and missing containing all Enquiries up to and including July 20th 1917.

Dated 1 Aug 1917.

It seems to contain 1916 and 1917 enquires.

I would think you need an earlier issue (if they have them)

Only four Irish Guards are listed and all are 1916 (September)
