His MIC states that he entered F&F on 20/9/15.

He would have enlisted in early April 1915 -99365 enlisted on 6/4/15.

The medal rolls are likely to be the only source of information.

Had a quick look on Ancestry Pension and Service records but nothing obvious there.

Any way of finding what division he would have been in.

A number of divisions entered F & F in September 1915. Check here -

he could have been with any of these or he could have been a replacement drafted to a division already in F & F. You are going to need the help of an artillery expert and you will need to see the medal rolls.
