Anthony Pigott Posted 13 March , 2009 Posted 13 March , 2009 Hello What would people recommend? I'm thinking of technical stuff, diagrams, pictures, engineering, etc., rather than their use in battle and stories of the crews. Thanks. Anthony

Maxwell Hundleby & Rainer Strasheim The German A7V Tank and the Captured BritishMark IV Tanks of World War 1 (Foulis, 1990) is also excellent. Charles M
David Seymour Posted 13 March , 2009 Posted 13 March , 2009 Anthony, There are some good general arrangement drawings and a table of tank details (giving dimensions, engines, transmission, trench crossing capacity, etc.) in D Fletcher, Landships: British Tanks in the First World War, HMSO, 1984. Hope this helps. With best wishes, David
