HERITAGE PLUS Posted 8 March , 2009 Share Posted 8 March , 2009 The SS Armadale Castle became an Armed Merchant Cruiser, requisitioned 2nd August 1914 and returning to commercial service in 1919. I have all the details I need about this ship other than a photograph. Can anyone provide one please? Dave

Dave The Armadale Castle undertook the initial bombardment/s of the German wireless stations in GSWA during the middle of August 1914 and I would be interested in any detail.
