Headstone inscriptions

Recommended Posts

I seen a grave of a 14th Battalion ( Young Citizens Volunteer) Royal Irish Rifles buried at New Irish Farm near Ypres. The inscription on the bottom stated " One of Ulsters Volunteer Death and Glory and no Surrender". Must be unique, Has anyone came across any other interesting inscriptions.

The soldier is Rifleman John Harkness McBratney, Grave XIV A.10

I also think the Fleming brothers in Cabaret Rouge British cemetery is unique as both brothers are buried side by side and the inscription has half on one and the rest on the other. Has any members any other unique headstone inscriptions?
