Hello All,

I'm wondering if there's anyone who can shed any light on this name on a local memorial

I don't have much of clue all I can give you is the name is on the 1914 - 1919 War Memorial in Abinger in Surrey. I had a check on CWGC (couldn't find anything there).

Grace King Dames des Cantines Anglaise.

Thanks in advance

Regards

I have checked the GRO Consular Death Indexes for 1911-15 and 1916-20 but there is no sign of Grace.

If she died before the Armistice then she would have been entitled to commemoration by the CWGC.
