The 4th Rifle Brigade on this day were relieved by the 2nd K.S.L.I. in the trenches at St. Eloi. After relief they marched to Dickebusch. Casualties during the relief were 8 killed and 17 wounded.

When they arrived at Dickebusch 70 O.R.'s and I Officer joined them.

At this time the battalions were spending 2 days out of the line before going back.

Edwin, unfortunately was one of the men killed during the relief.
