Guest michaelv Posted 27 March , 2004 Share Posted 27 March , 2004 Hello all, some months ago, I bought 4 medals on a local flee market here in the Hannover area. Ever since I was curious to know if there are any informations regarding the soldiers and their units. What do the abbreviations mean? Any information is appreciated. 1. 14-15 Star 157 A-BMBR. W.H. IRETON R.F.A 2. British War Medal 1914-20 M2 - 082716 CPL. P.S. Wallington A.S.C. 3. Victory Medal 1914-19 297217 PNR. J. Palin R.E. 4. Victory Medal 1914-19 127192 GNR. J. Pearson. R.A. Thank you Michael
