rhimsl Posted 26 March , 2004 Share Posted 26 March , 2004 Looking for information regarding the position and movements of the 2nd Bedfordshire on Sept. 29, 1918 during the Battle of St. Quentin Canal. Trying to verify position of a casualty (Pte. Horace Henry Todd #48848) that day with the 2nd Bedfords. Any and all information is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance, Robert
Chris_Baker Posted 27 March , 2004 Share Posted 27 March , 2004 On that day, 54th Brigade - of which 2nd Beds were part - captured Macquincourt Trench, 700 yards east of the Knoll. This is near Vendhuile, between Cambrai and Saint Quentin.
