SS143 manual

I'd be very interested in finding out where I could get hold of this manual, full title : SS143 Instructions for Training of Platoons for Offensive Action 1917.

This largely covers the change from 'wave' formation to the self-sufficient platoon, complete with specialist sections. I'd be really interested if anyone can help.

There are a number of variations of SS143 available from the IWM. The edition printed in March 1917 costs GBP 3, the edition printed April 1917 GBP 4, the editions printed June, September and November 1917 also cost GBP 4, the March 1918 printing costs GBP 4 and the March 1919 printing costs GBP 4. You will need to look at each given the often subtle yet significant amendments that may have occured to the text and graphics.

You should also consider looking at SS144, The Normal Formation for the Attack, February 1917, cost 2 pds.
