Hi,

I would be gratful for any further information on these men called Pauley, Frederick William & Robert, of 17 Ashfield Street, Belfast. I have resisted the urge to call them brothers because I can't be sure that they are.

Frederick William Pauley - Royal Irish Rifles.

204000

1/18/602591

1/45927

Then Royal Ulster Rfiles: 7007952

Entitled to a BWM/Victory pair plus GSM for Iraq.

Enlisted 1917. Discharged and re-enlisted 27/03/1919 (in Germany).

And

Robert Pauley - Royal Irish Rifles - 401

then ASC - M/350191.

Entitled to a BWM/Victory pair

The men attended McQuiston Memorial Presbyterian Church, Castlereagh Road, Belfast.

Anything more than is given here is unknown and will be a bonus.

Sources already consulted:

Ancestry MIC & 'pensions' (nil return on 'pensions')

Eddies News Extracts

Presbyterian Church in Ireland

1911 Ireland Census (nil return)

Ulster Covenant (nil Return)

Many thanks in advance,

Nigel
