Force which was I beleive was later called the Mesopotamian force A diary written by my Grandad Sydney Harry Howard (154716) records the departure on the16th July 1917 from Newark (Nottinghamshire) to Baghdad (21st August 1917) I have been unable to find out which unit the engieers were attached, also which badge would have worn?
