 Does anyone have the War diaries for 33rd Divisional Artillery 1917 relevant to Battle of Passchendaele, in particular any details of 162nd Brigade Royal Field Artillery.

I have "The History of the 33rd Divisional Artillery in the War, 1914-1918" by J. Macartney-Filgate

that has a whole chapter entitled: "The Autumn Battles of Ypres and Passchendaele (September - November 1917" (22 pages). The article has extensive coverage concerning the batteries of both 156th and 162nd Brigade, RFA. Are you looking for anything in particular?

My grandfather was with the 33rd Div Artillery from 1917 to 1919. I know its no help at all to you. His name was John (Jack) Hollyoak. However he was not a Gunner.

Just in case you have some info which may help me !!!!!

Evening Chums,

Dragged out this old thread.

I am looking for information regarding 33rd Div Artillery (162nd Brigade) in the days prior to 25th April 1918.

Any help will be suitably appreciated.

Roop
