Guest Posted 13 February , 2009 Share Posted 13 February , 2009 Hi! My grandfather was PRIVATE ARCHIBALD ANDREW WOODING 3/OXFORD & BUCKS LIGHT INFANTRY REGIMENTAL NO: 30658 (info recd from Medal Index) I believe that he was wounded by shrapnel in the second Battle of the Somme in early 1918. Any info on him or any of his colleagues during that campaign would be very useful. My grandfather died in 1970 when I was only 4 so I know very little about him. Any info recd would be really appreciated. Thanks David Crisp
