Paul Reed Posted 8 February , 2009 Share Posted 8 February , 2009 I've stayed in the IBIS, which right next to the station in Mons, is walking distance from the centre (main square). Rooms are adequate, and not expensive, gated off-road parking, and breakfast pretty good. Also has wi-fi and it's own restaurant. I've also stayed in the Mercure, which is on the outskirts of Mons close to SHAPE. Rooms are far superior (best ones I've ever found in a Mercure), breakfast good, good snack meals from the bar but wasn't too impressed with the restaurant.
