Regimentul 4 Arges,was created in January 1877,under the name Regimentul 7 Dorobanti ,and in 7th of November 1877 took part at Rahova attack ,12th January 1878 attacked Vidin,in the war against Otoman Empire.At 8th October 1879 was decorated with Crucea Trecerea Dunarei(Crossing the Danube Cross).At 1891 takes the name 4th Arges Regiment.
