L. and Alice Bartlett, of 43, Aldbourne Rd., Coventry. Born at West Bromwich, England. Born 22nd November, 1894. Resided at Coventry until 1914 when he emigrated to Australia. Boundary Rider. Enlisted May 1915. Grave Ref. II. E. 3. Assevillers New British Cemetery, Somme, France.

BOSWELL, Private, William. 23310, 11th Bn., Leicestershire Regiment. Died of wounds, 1st June, 1917. Age 19. Son of George Henry and Elizabeth Boswell, of Coventry, late of West Bromwich, Staffs. Born 1898 in Birmingham. Resided at Foleshill. Employed Daimler Company Ltd. Grave Ref. VI. E. 67. Bethune Town Cemetery, Pas De Calais, France.

CASHMORE, Company Sergeant Major, George, MM. 266361, 2/7th Bn., Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Killed in action, 22nd March, 1918. Born 19th June, 1891 at West Bromwich. Resided at 72, King George’s Avenue, Foleshill. Employed by Courtalds Ltd. Enlisted January, 1915, Coventry. Commemorated Holy Trinity Panels. Military Medal awarded for good conduct. Grave Ref. P. IX. O. 2B. St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France.

COOKSEY, Second Lieutenant, Wilfrid Maurice."B" Special Coy., Royal Engineers. Died of wounds, 13th April 1917. Age 27. Son of the late John Hudson Cooksey, Mining Engineer, of West Bromwich and Handsworth, and Phebe Cooksey, of New Vale, Balsall Common, Nr. Coventry. Grave Ref. I. H. 64. Barlin Communal Cemetery Extension, Pas de Calais, France.

DEAN, Lance Corporal, Arthur. 13683, 2nd Bn., Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Killed in action, Beaumont Hamel, 13th November, 1916. Born in 1892 at West Bromwich. Resided at 59, Alma Street. Turner and Fitter. Enlisted September, 1914, Coventry. Memorial Ref. Pier and Face 10 A and 10 D. Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.

ROLLASON, Private, Mark Welch. 11673, 1st Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Killed, Battle of the Somme, 23rd October, 1916. Born 29th February, 1876, at West Bromwich. Resided at 25, Swan Street. Labourer. Enlisted Coventry, January, 1915. Memorial Ref. Thiepval Memorial.

I know it is quite some time since you posted your message about these photographs but I have only recently joined the forum. I am wondering if the picture you have of Charles Bedenham RN is Boy 1c, J 23822 (Dev) who died on the Monmouth 1/11/1914. If so, The I would really like to have a copy. Peter McGrath (Australia)
