John James Edward Davis

Remembered today with honour one of the bravest of the brave Acting 2nd Corporal 102093 John James Edward Davis, 175th Tunnelling Company, Royal Enginners. Died Tuesday 30th January 1917. Born in North Crawley he enlisted in London, and was a resident of Dordon, Warwickshire. Son of Mr. and Mrs. George Davis; husband of J. E. Davis, of 162, Long St., Dordon, Warwickshire. Native of Emberton, Bucks. Buried in VARENNES MILITARY CEMETERY, Somme, France.
