Here is the info on the possible non commemoration that you asked me about The chap you mentioned was actually named JA Gillan and he served as John Monro. He is on CWGC list as Gillan. He went overseas with the original 6th Buffs as a Lance Sergeant on 1/6/15 and was killed in the carve-up at Loos on 13/10/15. ...and thanks very much for George White.
